MOHENJO DARO HISTORY YOU DONT KNOW

MOHENJO DARO

Mohenjo Daro is another beautiful yet one of the historical places in Pakistan you should see. This place was discovered in 1921, famous part of the Indus Valley Civilization and has similar nature like Harappa. For the tourists all around the world, Mohenjo Daro is the unique area to visit, especially for those who have a true sense of historical places. The ancient buildings and houses in Mohenjo Daro is made up of mud and baked bricks, which made the architecturally wonderful town.
The interesting fact about Mohenjo Daro is the 10.8 cm dancing girl, found from the house in 1926. This was the most famous statue  of historian and archaeologist Mortimer Wheeler. Wheeler said,  “There is her little Baluchi-style face with pouting lips and insolent look in the eye. She’s about fifteen years old I should think, not more, but she stands there with bangles all the way up her arm and nothing else on. A girl perfectly, for the moment, perfectly confident of herself and the world. There’s nothing like her, I think, in the world.”
After this I think, a tour to Mohenjo Daro is a must!
